  1. Turn off the power to your TV by unplugging it from your wall. Remove all cables connected to the TV from any component devices.
  2. Find the frame screws on the broken LCD TV screen. You may need to remove a plastic cover first to access the screws. Once you have found the screws removed them. You may want a second person on hand to help hold the screen and cover in place while you remove the screws.
  3. Remove the frame from around the broken LCD TV screen and gently set it aside.
  4. Next, remove any cables running from the TV to the broken screen. Be sure to note how they are attached so you can properly replace them later.
  5. Remove the broken LCD TV screen and set it aside. Now you can put the new screen in place and reverse the process above to complete your repair. Be sure to properly replace your cables and fasteners.
  6. Turn on your TV and enjoy the picture.

  1. I have a broken 55in samsung flat screen tv. The only thing that is wrong with is is the screen. We still watch the tv but I have bought another tv and was trying to see if someone would buy it. It could be fixed we were playing the wii game and the remote slipped did not break the screen but hit hard enough to make a spider with on the screen.

  4. The actuall glass screen which is cracked… CANNOT be replaired. If you decide to replace it with a NEW one, it’ll cost as much or more than a new TV. Try selling your set on Ebay, because people (like me) buy these sets for the good circuit boards in them. I’ve also purchased sets with GOOD screens and circuit board problems. I then do TRANSPLANTS which works out very well. I’ve done a dozen transplants, and each one has been successful. I’m next going to experiment with HEARTS or LUNGS. The pay is much better !! LOL….
